This features the highest of high concepts, and if you want to use logic to tear this film to shreds, you can...
It's also a rather effective B-movie that does commit to its concept, and is a rather enjoyable first time watch. Everything is painted with the broadest of broad strokes here, so don't expect much subtlety, but for a 90 minute spook house ride, where you are literally just sitting there waiting for someone to make noise, who cares about subtlety? The performances across the board are strong, and while the film wears its (extremely) sappy heart on its sleeve, I did care about the characters. The farm environment is great, and the film is shot quite nicely. I guess, in summation, you could do a lot worse than this flick.
