I would say the biggest fault of Housebound is that it feels like it was made from a script that didn't go through any drafts. They do some of the characters so dirty, that it really ticked me off. Some characters they had the opportunity to develop, but they don't, and others that are developed really nicely, get dropped in a pretty disrespectful manner. I think the film does work, and it is an enjoyable enough watch, but everything is in service of the script, so there is some stuff that just absolutely makes zero sense, and this bugged me. I didn't hate the film, and I would probably watch it again, it's just they needed to really polish things up a bit more.
