Very glad we ate before seeing this. I feel like it could have used un soupçon more plot, but it was lovely all the same.
At the Q&A, I asked Juliette Binoche if she’d picked up any cooking tips or ideas to try at home and this was her response.
She also gave an extremely moving and remarkably open and perceptive answer to a question about working with her former partner, Benoit Magimel. I won’t reproduce the whole thing, but it was essentially about the healing power of art, because their daughter had been so moved by seeing her parents on screen together, the implication being that she didn’t have her own memories of that because they had split up when she was still young.
