Having just seen this I have to say....what an invigorating cinematic experience. So colorful, and joyous (while heartbreaking at the same time). Everything in this film worked: the acting, the cinematography, the old style feel in a modern setting, the music, etc etc. Not to mention, I was smiling the whole way through the film. To top it off, the film sticks the ending. It has stuck with me since I left the theater. This is the best film I've seen in 2016. Please do yourself a favor and go see it. It's a little bit of good in a dark year.

Well, Boyhood finally made it to my city after a really long and hard wait. However, in the end it was completely worth it....because holy crap! Boyhood is a masterpiece.
