The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury ★★★

Quickie Review
More of a short film than a full-length feature film, this direct-to-video tie-in serves as a "gap bridging" (meaning that it's a continuation of "Pitch Black" and a prelude to "The Chronicles of Riddick"). While it has stunning animation by anime great Peter Chung and the returns of Vin Diesel as Riddick, Keith David as Imam and Rhiannon Griffith as Jack, it's too short for it to leave a lasting impression but after you finish viewing "Pitch Black" and before you watch "The Chronicles of Riddick" & "Riddick", this isn't a bad way to witness the journey of the antihero from Furya who had to kill a few people to get glowing eyes like that.
