A vibrant extravaganza filled with imaginative and larger than life iconography. Set pieces are too good for a 1995 superhero flick. Actually gives a shit about exploring Bruce Wayne and Kilmer does a very good job of bringing the character to life. Not as horny as Batman Returns but comes pretty close. Only real issue is Tommy Lee Jones. He started to get on my nerves alot of the time but other than that, it's a pretty great fun and pulpy ride.

The balance of hilarity along with the stressful climax is truly impressive. Never does it feel like the two tones are clashing with one another, on top of some already fantastic camera choices(lighting could've been better in the forest scene though), great script and a committed cast and you have a fantastic movie in hands that achieves what it sets out to do in aces. So glad the film knew who was in the right and who was in the wrong and for what reasons because movies with narratives like this are easy to butcher. I loved it, top 5 of 2022 so far.

Not gonna watch any more of these unless it's about Loki or written by James Gunn.

Also, Adil & Bilall really did their best to salvage this mess so I'm looking forward to Batgirl even more now.

Remember how DCEU went from it's all time low with Wonder Woman 1984 to it's all absolute peak with The Suicide Squad in a matter of months? Yeah, something similar has happened except here MCU went from it's all time high, that being Multiverse Of Madness to the absolute lowest of the barrel with this dogshit.

Blatantly rip-offs plot elements from other Phase 4 projects, especially Multiverse Of Madness with it's villain who has lost his…

Yeah this is turning out to be the biggest offender of "2 hour movie stretched into 6 episode" complaint so far. Crazy how I went from mostly being positive on the pilot to considering putting this at the bottom of all mcu disney plus shit lmao.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

    ★★★

I watched the prequels at a time when my knowledge about filmmaking was extremely limited and when I didn't give a shit about politics so I wanted to give them another shot. And I gotta say, this was actually pretty fun. The cheeky and silly humor works in it's favours and the just overall presentation is done really well for the most part. The characters are kinda thinly written but the emotional beats are executed with such sincerity that they…
