Promising Young Woman opens a new vein in terms of storytelling by revealing every injustice, insolence, and discrimination standing at the core of our daily lives in the clearest, most unignorable way possible. The film adopts very appropriate perspectives while dealing with this story throughly and accomplishes a very important mission by ensuring that everyone is aware of the things that they bend down to, the things they actually don’t have to deal with. However in the meantime the film aims to reach people from every background and age, and makes hasty decisions that eventually damage it’s own story. In the end, Promising Young Woman comes out as a film that aims to lift the curtain of traditions, learned helplessnes but limits itself in terms of it’s structure.
