Corey McKinney’s review published on Letterboxd:
Creep 2 didn’t add much more for me than the original. Maybe I should of watched it late at night like I did the first (instead of an after dinner movie), but I didn’t quite feel the tension or suspense build with Josef/ Aaron this time around.
The introduction of Desiree Akhavan definitely made it better; she goes toe to toe with the Peachfuzz loving psychopath and puts him in his place often enough. However I tuned out for a lot of the egocentric fuelled scenes in the first half and found the ending slightly unrealistic.
Still all in all two pretty decent “found footage” style horrors, which I think would work best as a late night double bill with a couple drinks...
“Well, this is my destiny.
Sara loves her juicy fruit.
And Aaron loves to kill!”
