Thomas Pollock’s review published on Letterboxd:
Film 12# of Allen and Anime Marathon
Following two stories, one of a marred wealthy man and his love affair with another woman, and the other a loving (and married) uncle, aspiring documentary filmmaker, who also finds himself in an affair with another woman. The two stories eventually come together, and we see the sticky situation of love, relationships and affairs between the two of them. You cannot help but feel sorry for Allen’s character, when his love-affair interest is snatched away by a more-handsome more-charming man. I do not think this is one of Allen’s best, but still an enjoyable film with good dialogue and few good laughs.
