Thomas Pollock’s review published on Letterboxd:
5 Things on this film:
- Naomi Watts Russian accent is pretty bad, but she has some funny lines
- Bill Murray plays cranky great, showing he's still got it as a comedy actor.
- The story is fairly predictable, but does begin to take an unpredictable turn. It becomes rewarding for that.
- I have warmed up to Melissa McCarthy, who is a pretty talented actress. Kudos to her.
-This film has good laughs and sometimes a poignant core. Even as it is predictable, it is still satisfying to watch.
