  The film's horror hinges way too much on the main baddie pulling off a Kathy Bates or Anthony Perkins psycho-level performance. He's simply out of his depth.

  Kudos to Vinegar Syndrome for making this fairly run-of-the-mill early 90s fight film look as good as any blockbuster of its time. The blu-ray is the best and probably only way to get maximum enjoyment out of this straight genre pic.
