Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood

Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood ★½

When a film subvert the audience's exceptions, you're (almost) always in for something exciting. But...

What even happens here? Like what actually occurs in this film?? Other then in the last 10 minutes of the 18-hour run-time. The subversive (and obvious) "twist" results in one of the leads achieving nothing of valve to the overall plot besides being eye-candy for frat film bros. While the other two leads just exist, without any noticeable development in their characters. They both bumble around with one becoming slightly less sad, while still continuing his destructive Hollywood celebrity lifestyle, so the same.

I'm sorry I'm not a fan of the Briqston Tortellini film. I shall now retire my cinema enthusiast title and you can refer to me as Ryan, the filthy film casual.

Fuck This.
