The wide shots of Myers blending into the background are like playing a game of hide and seek; except you’re both hiding. You’re hiding to avoid Myers, while he hides to surprise you when he comes towards you to kill you.
While the music is great and iconic, it’s those moments of unexpected silence where you start feeling Myers breathing down your back ready to strike. Those small moments of silence that truly make this movie horrifying.
