Ghostbusters 1984
WHO YA GONNA CALL? Bill Murray’s charm as Venkman is one of the main reasons this movie has stood the test of time in my mind. The plot? Pretty damn nonsensical if you think about it. I just have to vibe out to the Ghostbusters theme and let the chemistry between the group carry the movie, because if I think too hard about what’s actually happening on screen it can take me out.

The Shawshank Redemption 1994
Always an absolute pleasure to revisit this all-timer. “Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.”
Today was one of those days that reminded me why I love movies & that they’re just the best. It’s so refreshing to go back to the classics. I LOVE MOVIES!

The Batman 2022
There might just be a new king in town… The Batman is a detective epic that entranced me from the opening shot to the moment the credits rolled. It is genuinely terrifying at times—major credit to Paul Dano’s Riddler. The film deals with themes of loneliness, corruption & redemption… and who better to don the cowl in this gritty tale than Robert Pattinson. He IS Batman. This is truly the beginning of something special.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts 2023
No one can convince me that this movie was not written by AI. It’s generic as hell, predicable from the start and filled with underwhelming action. The human characters were stale too. Pete Davidson’s voice work was a highlight (I had some laughs), plus the soundtrack had some bops. Other than that… this was a NOTHING movie.
