Abel Ferrara’s covid era movie, an uncompromising film that could only be made in the digital and covid age, the film’s themes are a lack of intimacy and connection, even if at moments the experimental nature of the film makes it messages as uncompromising as they are incomprehensible, the film continues to have an atmosphere of dread and unspoken pain throughout, shown efficiently through it’s film form experimentation.

The Sea Beast 2022
Boring and uninspired, a waste of impressive animation on a bland, forgettable product, which will be added to the endless Netflix queue of dull films you should not bother watching.

I have now seen three Andrei Tarkovsky films which are mirror,Ivan’s childhood and this and in my opinion he is an extremely overrated director.
Out of the films I have seen by him they are pretentious garbage. They are not only painfully overlong and hard to sit through but also have no payoff and feel like complete wastes of time.
Just don’t bother with films like these
I hoped this would be good but it was just another disappointment from Audrei Tarkovsky. -
