After reading a lot of (your) reviews, I see that people think they understand what they just watched.

Phantom Thread only has one issue that I won’t even remotely discuss. I found the issue to be destructive to an almost perfect film. Regardless, I am not going to complain. This movie was exquisite and the most intricate film of the year. I personally think it is PTA’s best, or a strong second place behind There Will Be Blood.

Note I still have to see Inherent Vice, Boogie Nights and Hard Eight, but this movie was really my taste.
