2017 Best Picture Marathon - Film #9:
I saved my favorite for last, and all the better that I took my parents (who knew absolutely NOTHING about the film) to see it.
They were completely silent throughout, and when it ended I looked over to my right only to see my mom sobbing into my dad's shoulders, tears streaming down his face as well.
I haven't seen my dad cry in years. Let alone because of a movie.
This is such an absolutely perfect film, but of course, you already know this.
Let's take home the gold tonight boys. #blackexcellence
