I want to watch this movie again immediately. Wow. I ADOREDShang Chi so very much.

The entire cast, but especially Simu Liu, made me fall in love with them. Completely magnetic and genuinely heartfelt. Visually captivating. Exciting action and choreography. Cannot say enough great things.

Annette is a surreal, operatic fantasy film that will take you on an exhilarating journey if you let it.
It is vibrant and bold. It is brutal & unapologetically strange.

It makes bold aesthetic choices. The sets, the costuming, the lighting, the choreography - everything feels immersive and grandiose in the best possible ways.

The performances are captivating. The music will get stuck in your head. It’s a film that I’m still sitting with and processing. Definitely excited to revisit this one.

It doesn’t fully explore the fascinating concept it sets out to. It gets lost in trying to develop characters, and the relationships that in the…

A second viewing does a lot for this movie. It’s much easier to follow, although still confusing at times.

The cast really bring a lot to this movie in terms of depth of characters. Seeing John David Washington as a leading man in a film like this is incredible, and he carries it so masterfully. It was easier to let myself focus on the performances this second viewing, as I didn’t have to put nearly as much focus on trying…
