Had to re-visit God's lonely man and the steamy streets of New York. First time on Blu-ray and it looked absolutely stunning.
My girlfriend: Can we watch a real feelgood movie tonight?
Me: What about Schindler's List?
One hour in, I felt pretty bad. I didn't remember it to be this challenging to watch, and it is safe to say this is as far from a feelgood movie as they come. I watched it once before, about ten years ago. A much younger me enjoyed it, but I guess I didn't quite grasp the scope and significance of this haunting masterpiece.
