Sunset Boulevard ★★★★½

Stars are ageless, aren't they?

The thing that surprised me the most about Sunset Boulevard is how ageless it is. And kind of how "universal" it is.
A lot of the aspects, subjects, and themes of the movie can be applied to the current scenario of the film industry, of showbiz as a whole, and of anything, really.
Depression, loneliness, dependence, greed, narcissism, the change of times, pity, and much more. All very well-presented, and very well explored in the story.

Essential is the word to describe this film. It is an essential film to all film lovers out there!
