the line goes a little bit further whenever you thought you got it, but isn't a human's mind twisted and tricky itself?
visually mesmerizing horror of the mind playing on duality and boundaries lability. romance, anguish, class dynamics, respectable masks hiding dark and raw instincts. it's all blurry and it has you hooked at the same time. the death of self. birth. a frame of calmness adorning stunning compositions then frantic surreal storms blowing all away. yes if crushes on films were possible I'd have one on Gemini

An arthouse, grotesque and twisted attempt of genre deconstruction/parody, absolutely fucked up in any kind of moral views and disturbing but.. interesting
Singapore Sling constantly travels through a contrast between the beauty of setting and costumes (half a star for some outfits being exactly my dreamlike style) and a garnishing erotic aura the cinematography contributes to, it all gives beautiful visuals. what's happening in said visuals is a strong contrast of elegance and content extremism.
    A deranged spiral of noir-splotation…
