Chadwin’s review published on Letterboxd:
If you’ve read any review you’ve definitely seen 99% of people mentioning how fun the movie is...and I’m here to continue this trend because it is, in fact, one of the most fun films of the year.
Though I don’t necessarily think certain plot points are as shocking or surprising as Rian Johnson may have intended, I don’t think this detracts from the clever writing itself. I also loved the characters (some of which you love to hate), and the performances were all around fitting. Johnson’s direction is swift and assuring, and he completely nails the ending with a final, cathartic moment that is entirely satisfying.
Chances are high that I will return to see it again before it leaves theatres.
