Maggie Gyllenhaal is phenomenal in this.  She plays this role perfectly in every way.

I was genuinely surprised by this film, especially when it started heading in a direction that I hadn’t necessarily expected (though I had the uneasy feeling something like it would happen).

I definitely recommend it.
