The Face of Another 1966
Sometimes (especially during the last few weeks) I can’t stand the idea of existing physically, I think it’s a burden we all have to live with and it often makes me feel desperate and lonely and insecure.
Because of the pandemic, I keep thinking what it would be like if we never go back to “normal” and just keep living our lives like this, so physically distant. At first I thought it would be a solution to my constant anxiety, but I realize it is not. Being insecure or having a deformed face isn’t really the problem; it’s existence itself. Loneliness is inescapable.
