Flo Lieb’s review published on Letterboxd:
Dandy, for sure.
But certainly you could trim some fat from this three and a half hour behemoth and make it an hour or more shorter.
There are four or five segments that are dedicated to the digital dark and the importance of internet access for the public even though the point is made after its first statement.
Also we see at one time a Halloween parade that has nothing to do with the NYPL and multiple times authors do interview events at the library. All of those are fine and about relevant issues which would justify a documentary of their own but this too shows the repetitiveness of the material.
