Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood ★★★

Could‘ve done without the cutaways and Kurt Russell‘s very random narration (which mostly only described what we were literally seeing anyway).

Generally there’s a lot that feels like filler (even by Tarantino‘s standards), for instance the Playboy Mansion party that was used to explain why Emile Hirsch was hanging around Margot Robbie the whole time (I guess DiCaprio could’ve just said McQueen‘s lines when they encountered each other’s party in the driveway). But considering the lenghty runtime at least the film never dragged.
