i thought this was supposed to be a silly seth rogen-esque stoner comedy so when they started putting all of that complicated cia shit i was confused i’m not gonna lie! however they won me back with bill pullman, i love right about halfway through when a movie starts to get kind of boring and then BOOM: cameo from a middle aged white man that i like!!! (another case of this is jesse plemmons and his silly hat suddenly appearing in killers of the flower moon)

it was kind of girlboss in the “women are so badass good for them” way, at least up until the epilogue that reminded us the entire government is a piece of shit and will never believe a single woman if they can help it! that kinda sucked i think they were trying to be meta about it but it just made me sad. i just want to watch maggie q tear a bunch of guys apart without being reminded of how awful the real world is
