    The Clovehitch Killer is a taut, tense takedown on small town Americana and the seemingly perfect lives that dwell there.

    This one hit particularly close to home, ending up as 10x more terrifying than movies with twice the gore, jump scares, or disturbing ambiance. Instead, The Clovehitch Killer takes places mainly in beige living rooms, adorned with cross-stich samplers. Families sit around the kitchen table clipping coupons while Dad gets into some nasty business out in the shed.

    Three horror movies for the second day of OHMC, going strong and steady.
