    "Frieeeeend?"

First of all, I'd like to thank Sony Corporation of America for giving this the worst marketing for a wide theatrically released film I've seen since Jennifer's Body. If you want an idea of just how much the trailers don't represent the movie, "What's Up", infamously used sandwiched between horn farts and explosions in the film's first trailer, is used here faintly on a fuzzy radio station in a truck, creating a sense of isolation and dreadful quiet that…

"They belong together. There's no place for me here."

Over 2 decades of superhero movies and none of them has even come close to this one for me. It truly, deeply breaks my heart that people will let some poorly aged CGI and occasional scatalogical humor (which, if anything, make the trippy, nightmare reality of the film feel that much more authentic) cause them to completely write off a really well made film full of emotional power and, dare I…

"He was 12 years old, didn't have a hair on his prick! Ain't no fuckin' reason, ain't no fuckin' God!"

Gets an extra half star for making me cry my eyes out at the scenes of Travolta and Preston mourning the death of their son. Impossible not to think about the real life tragedy that inspired those emotions from these actors and the performances are likewise very convincing.

Not sure why I felt the urge to re-watch this. Kelly Preston…

    The Strangers: Prey at Night

Pros: The acting is quite good

    Cons: LITERALLY EVERYTHING FUCKING ELSE

That being said, I respect that this was a learning experience for Johannes Roberts, as both of his subsequent films made after this were dramatic improvements.

    It's still unwatchable though.

3 months in and we already have the worst film of 2019.

Dinesh D'Souza is green with envy at Dan Reed's protracted, emotionally manipulative, nonsensical, contradictory propaganda piece. There's a reason why there was nobody involved in the court case in this documentary, there's a reason why there's nobody with specific knowledge of the evidence involved in the documentary, there's a reason why Dan Reed refused to interview Corey Feldman (Maybe the most outspoken voice against child molestation in all…

Alright, let me get this straight.

    This is...
    1) The only film in the series with an actual plot.
    2) The only film in the series with an actual structure.
    3) The only film in the series with proactive characters instead of merely reactive ones.
    4) The only film in the series where characters actually spend a decent amount of time outside.
    5) The only film in the series where the characters are all fairly intelligent and immediately take the…
