“Swing away, Merrill.”
The most terrifying movie monsters I’ve seen in years. I demand McFarlane Toys figures now!
“Ninjas don’t hug.”
This movie basically ripped my skull open, went into my brain, picked out a thousand of my favorite Pop Culture fixations, threw them in a random reference generator, gave it the plot to A New Hope, sold me a cherry coke and said “Enjoy”.
A gift from Uncle Stephen to the fanboys he raised. Thanks Uncle Steve. You still give the best presents.
More of the same, but in different locations.
It’s like when you go for a great slice of pizza, and you like it so much you go back the exact next day for another slice, but somethings different. You can’t put your finger on it, but it’s lesser some how. It’s almost the same, but you can’t get over the fact that it’s lesser some how. Still a good pizza though.
Cinnemark had a screening of the '89 Classic the day before my birthday. A coincidence? I think not!
Still holds all the magic on the big screen just like it did when I saw it at the local theater in 1989. I might be turning 33 tomorrow, but this made me feel like that 6 year old all over again.
