My 3,500 movie watched, and damn was it a good one. Took me 38 years of living to watch that many, but it was time we’ll spent.

This movie is amazing. I don’t want to say too much to ruin anything, but I will say this…

we definitely need more Joy Division jokes in movies.
I might of been the only one in the theater laughing at it, but I was cackling and it totaly worked…on me.

    So glad Candyman…

I want to live in this movie.

I don’t even care if it’s as Brad Pitt’s dog.

Attended the 35th Anniversary screening of Monster Squad tonight, strangely enough in St. Albins, West Virginia. Andre and Ryan from the movie were there doing Q&A, signing autographs, and taking pictures with all that attended. Such a fun night with great guests and a classic movie. Had a blast!

You got me with this one Netflix, now please don’t make me wait long on Night Shift. You know it’s coming and you know that’s what you’re calling it.
    So hurry up for Fozzy.

Cinnemark had a screening of the '89 Classic the day before my birthday. A coincidence? I think not!

Still holds all the magic on the big screen just like it did when I saw it at the local theater in 1989. I might be turning 33 tomorrow, but this made me feel like that 6 year old all over again.

As much as I enjoy the bickering and the picking at each other, the crazy therapist who thinks he's in the band, Dave Mustaine crying, Lars melting down over Echobrain, and watching an album come together, my favorite part is watching the bass auditions and seeing how Robert Trujillo fits in perfectly from the jump, and is genuinely over come by the oppuertunty to join the band, changing his life forever. It's the heart of the film.

I always wondered what Newsted thought of that.
