This rating in no way reflects upon Kyle Gallner, the work he did in this film, or what he does for the world as a whole. We here at Foz’s Letterboxd appreciate Mr. Gallner for all he does. Thank you Sir for your continued excellence in cinema and life. May this movie have brought you a nice, and well deserved, paycheck. You earned it.

    The Black Phone

Can’t believe I hadn’t seen this yet. So good.
One of the best of 2022. Horror or otherwise.

  • Clerks III

    Clerks III

    The entire theater cried.

I’ve grown up with the View Askewniverse and this was such an emotional ending to the Clerks story.

In the words of Spock, I am emotionally compromised.

  • Beyond the Law

    Beyond the Law

A perfect late night movie. Might as well have been airing on WGN.

  • The Invitation

    The Invitation

It was fine, but I feel like I got tricked into reading a Gothic Romance Horror novel from my wife’s bedside dresser. It had its moments, but they really needed to go all out to feel like a Horror film and not Fifty Shades of Dracula. If that kinda stuff is your bag, then grab the popcorn. You’ll love it.
But it just wasn’t for me.

  • Barbarian

    Crazy as fuck.
Go in as blind as possible.

  • Foo Fighters: Back and Forth

    Foo Fighters: Back and Forth

This has become my comfort documentary.
I could never get sick of it.

  • Lost Boys: The Tribe

    Lost Boys: The Tribe

Can’t believe it’s been 14 years since this came out.
Can’t believe I watched it again.

I really don’t think they understood that this wasn’t a Point Break remake. Cause they tried their damndest.

The post-credits scene is still the best part, even if it’s just a minute long, it’s the movie we all wanted to see.

I’d say let’s see how this ages in another 14 years but I doubt I ever watch this one again.

  • The Monster Squad

    The Monster Squad

Attended the 35th Anniversary screening of Monster Squad tonight, strangely enough in St. Albins, West Virginia. Andre and Ryan from the movie were there doing Q&A, signing autographs, and taking pictures with all that attended. Such a fun night with great guests and a classic movie. Had a blast!

  • Day Shift

    Day Shift

    Fun, Funny, Action Packed!

You got me with this one Netflix, now please don’t make me wait long on Night Shift. You know it’s coming and you know that’s what you’re calling it.
    So hurry up for Fozzy.

  • Bullet Train

    Bullet Train

    My Birthday Movie!

Technically my 39th Birthday was yesterday but since I had to work all day it had to wait til today.

Having started keeping my films watched journal on my 28th Birthday, August 11th 2011, this will mark my 11th year of logging every film I’ve seen along the way. That’s a lot of 11’s, and it’s been a lot of movies. Letterboxd came to me a couple years into my journey and it’s been my favorite thing…

  • Beerfest

Even though Super Troopers holds a special place in my heart, this has to be Broken Lizard’s best film. It just doesn’t let up on the laughs. Every scene is quotable. Now for the love of God, give us Pot Fest.
