Frank Ritz’s review published on Letterboxd:
Definitely saw this as a kid, even though I only remembered like 2 parts, but I can say this fuckin’ slaps. No good critical dissertation to be found here, just a roll-licking, nostalgia filled, good time. Sure some sequences are redundant and flat (the tag sequence eats up way too much time), and there’s zilch as far as characterization goes, but it was fun, and entertaining, and I adore the show and these characters. So, a win.
Professor is the best. In the show he’s amazing, but here, he’s the best. The Mayor is the inverse.
Also, unashamedly, a Bubbles lover. Deal with it.
