I did something that I don't do very often: I stopped watching this movie before it ended.
I was already 2 hours through, pretty much annoyed. And then, this damned father wouldn't die so I was like "Fuck it, I won't waste another 40 minutes to this".
I can tell by now that I don't like Lars von Trier. There was nothing in storytelling, directing, editing oder cinematagrophy that I liked. The only good thing in this movie was Stellan Skarsgard. I started to hate Charlotte Gainsbourgh character, not because of her nymphomania, but because of this incoherent, illogical and annoying person she was. Maybe I should watch the movie til the end to understand her, but no thanks.
I'm just sad I wasted my saturday night to this. Fuck it. Literally.
