Shrew's Nest

Shrew's Nest ★★★★

A pious, agoraphobic woman takes loving thy neighbor a step too far after an injured man knocks on her door seeking refuge.

As someone who generally fears they're becoming more and more agoraphobic with the ongoing years ('rona sure don't help much), I honestly just feel for Montse. Macarena Gómez gives such a tragic (and terrifying) performance, she's really the best part of the whole film.

Also, I didn't know this was co-produced by Álex de la Iglesia,
which is pretty dang cool.
