Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 1984
on one hand, this movie is like the most racist and poorly acted movie i've ever seen. on the other hand, yeah no it's kinda awful but still funny.

Fences 2016
i get why all these ppl are saying that there's too much dialogue, but news flash: it's a play! and the dialogue is so intense and beautiful at times it's easy to get immersed. the fight had my heart pounding in a way it hasn't in a while. it is such an encompassing portrayal of the effects of patriarchy and capitalism; it's terrible and beautiful.

Black Adam 2022
i cant believe i didn't review this but basically what it was was me gripping the seat and grinding my teeth in agony for 2 hours in a theater by myself with like 4 random people. i would rather move to nicaragua with several promising young improv comedians but we get stopped on our drive through the guatemalan border so we have to feed one of the troubadours to the border guard who turns out to be a great beast of the ancient world sworn to their rival comedy troupe.
