  I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this movie at this point, but I’m starting to question the whole time travel thing and that maybe this is just a sad movie about a troubled boy, terrified of being alone, who kills himself after losing his girlfriend and shooting another man. The way that they talk about fear in this movie kind of got it in my head. Perhaps Frank’s warning about the end of the world is a timer counting down to when Donnie decides to end his own life.
