I'd like to think the Academy gave Nicholson and Hunt Oscars because they couldn't believe they made this bizarre picture work.
So the movie begins when Malcolm, a movie director, has just made the first hit movie of his career. Marie is a bit disgruntled for unspecified reasons. Malcolm presses her about it. And then her woes shift from "it's nothing" to "you didn't thank me" to "you stole my life" to "you're a narcissist" back to "you didn't thank me"
It's a car crash I was witnessing, from the discourse within the movie itself to the one it was destined…

I really wanted to watch this with some person I went out with. But the world has its own plans for 2020.
And it really got me thinking about that and I texted her
The point is this movie won't really grab all your attention. It's not that unique, the needledrops are too jarring.
It's cute though
It's about regret. And I regret not watching this on a date. Watch it on a date, you might enjoy it more
