The Wave ★★★

What starts as a wrinkle in a calm sea quickly evolves from a tidal wave into a tsunami.

A teacher performs a classical social experiment where the group mimics a totalitarian, autocratic regime under his leadership. Starting rather innocent, soon a mindset is developed of group dynamism and self-protection, so that it quickly escalates way out of the teacher’s control.
It’s clear where it’s heading but nonetheless the ending was powerful and intense, the journey itself enjoyable but surely not memorable.
