Would have made a greater silent movie
It would have solved the problem of Paul Mazursky, who delivers a performance so god-awful it should be remembered in cinema history as one of Kubrick's gifts to the world.
"The trees, Mac! They're naked...! Woow!"
Good movie, though. Not in any conventional way, but original. Goes to show cinematography goes a long way.
