Fredrik Fyhr’s review published on Letterboxd:
Twenty-seven years after the clown-trauma in IT, our heroes return to their hometown as adults; they are soon reminded of Pennywise and realize that they are the only ones who can stop the monster clown (who is actually some kind of cosmic demon). Made directly after Chapter 1 and serves in all practical respects as a categorical continuation rather than a sequel. Also has exactly the same advantages and disadvantages as its predecessor, and becomes particularly messy when it adds several new layers to the story (which already had lots of threads and half-made thematic ideas from Stephen King's novel). Plenty of colorful effects though, a touching morale and heartfelt acting, though the whole 5 hour affair leaves the feeling that more should have been achieved with all these assets.
