thinking about what almodóvar said in an interview talking about pain and glory: "it has that thing that the best cinema has, no matter what the story is about, whether it's mine or somebody else's, the audience can see their mother instead of mine, can see their past lovers -those who went wrong specially- can see parts of their own life in a life that doesn't look at all like their one".
xavier dolan's films always resonate with me whether i relate to the story or not and i'm very thankful for that
