It takes a little bit to get going, but once the first look at the camp is over and the campers and counselors go out into the world, it picks up a lot, morphing from a look at one obscure place to a full-blown civil rights period piece. A truly fantastic documentary that shines a light on a subject far too under-discussed. The soundtrack is incredible, the subjects are highly engaging, and the archival footage over the decades is staggering. Can't believe I hadn't watched this until now.
