Jeez, what an amazing performance from Julia Roberts! Right from the opening she's introduced till the end. An absolute badass presence. A very well written movie that kept me hooked.

I still find it cazy how Soderbergh released this movie and Traffic the same year and got Oscar nominated in directing for both! Very much deserved though. He knows how to make an engrossing film about a real person without making it boring.

FINALLY WATCHED THIS! I have a lot of thoughts so I will keep it brief:

If I was new to watching movies and someone showed me this and told me that it is the “greatest movie ever made” then I would have believed them without any hesitation!

I am speechless at what I watched. What's there not to love about it? The Daniels are incredible. It's so ambitious. I don't know how someone can make a movie like this but…

This was so good, wtf. Swashbuckler films aren't as exciting as this anymore. Sad that it bombed when released because this is a very underappreciated film I have stumbled on. The story isn't anything new but it's elevated by the great characters and performances from the cast.

Charlie Cox should be in more movies because he's so likable in his first mainstream role. It was great to see Claire Danes here too as she's a fun presence and shares great…

Hilarious film! Steve Buschemi is one of the funniest humans to walk on this planet. I was fully invested in the story and the movie always had me entertained. Enjoy the humor a lot, if you are a fan of Succession then I would highly recommend this. Both share the same sense of humor. I feel like my rating will go up too on a rewatch.

This is how you do political satire, Adam McKay take notes.

I am so conflicted. I kind of feel like I watched a different film than everyone else.

I will start with things I liked, the atmosphere is really good. Scott Derrickson knows how to create effective jumpscares. I didn't love Sinister when I saw it a few years ago but this makes me want to revisit it. The Grabber is intimidating. Ethan Hawke kills it everytime he's onscreen. I wish they gave him more screentime. He's the only recognizable face…
