I’m doing an award show thingy. It’s the HALFWAY THROUGH 2022 AWARD SHOW. The link takes you to the list and the information on how this works is in the description of the list. I’m not sure when we’ll actually vote on the nominees (this is picking the nominees part). This closes on July 15th then from like July 17th maybe till July 30st will be voting on the noms before I I announce them on July 31st. Yeah…

There’s definitely gonna be a rewatch of this. Why? Cause I was like Evelyn when she’s at tax place I zoned out. I started fully for the most part paying attention again in the last 15 minutes and that last 15 minutes kicks ass. I don’t know when the rewatch will be but it’ll happen. Cause this movie deserves more then me mostly zoned out the whole time.

I told my dad he’d probably love this so him and I watched it. Yeah he had a great time and it doesn’t very well change from last time. Bay puts like more then his everything into every shot and the drone shots were absolutely stunning. Yeah that’s it all I gotta say really. Have a nice evening everyone. Peace out.

    Jurassic World Dominion

Ima write a review later cause I don’t feel like it right now but this is nowhere near as bad as some have said. It’s a perfectly good action adventure film with dinosaurs in it. It’s basically what the Uncharted movie should have been at some points. I’ll write a lot more in depth later but besides a pretty weak villain the movie is perfectly serviceable in what it sets out to do

I’ll write a bit more of an in depth review soon just know. It’s kind of boring for the first 15 ish minutes, but then Ethan Hawke showed up and it immediately got better.

Summer Scavenger Hunt: A Film Under 15K Views

Will this stay under 15k views? No, it’ll probably be over that by like 10 tonight. Is it at 12k as I’m leaving the theater with my grandma? Yeah, so I’m gonna use it for the scavenger hunt. Anyway the movie it’s self is interesting in a lot of aspects. It’s pretty much every other musical biopic out there, but Baz Luhrman’s editing keeps things interesting. Honestly Baz’s editing and Austin Butler’s…

Summer Scavenger Hunt: Watch a motion picture directed by one Wesley Wales Anderson

Alright returning back to not talking like a Wes Anderson character possibly my favorite of his films. I’m not sure it competes with Royal Tenenbaums and I’d there pretty equal to one another but I think this beats that by just a smidge. Both have incredible performances from Wes Anderson’s usual buddies and new comers (this case being Tony Revolori and Saoirse Ronan both of which are…

Summer Scavenger Hunt: A Film In The Top 250

I’ve been a fan of Jordon Peele’s for the last few months. For the last like 5 months of schools anytime I was bored I’d just turn on some Key and Peele sketches and shut my mind off for awhile cause I don’t wanna learn I wanna watch two guys fight for a spot in the glee club or a serial killer using a mirror maze to hide himself from the…

The Arthouse Film Club #1: Picked By Yours Truly

This ended up being a lot better then I expected it to be. I expected a 4 maybe even a 3.5, but honestly it’s an amazing movie. It has for the first half a laugh per minute thing going for it in my book (yes I love sarcastic asshole characters) then they all get high and things slowly take a turn into the dramatic where we get to learn about and…

    Licorice Pizza

    ★★★½

I’m really disappointed with this movie. I expected a lot more out of this because everyone says I’ll love PTA films and this looked like it was fun, chill, 70’s hang out movie. It’s that in terms of being pretty plotless and I usually love movies where things just happen. Big Lebowski and Inside Llewyn Davis being examples of movies that work well off of being plotless. This movie though just nothing very interesting happens. The directing is good I’ll…

Summer Scavenger Hunt: Watch A Film Released In 2022

Ima need a couple of YouTube videos to explain that ending because what the fudge. I’m gonna keep this spoiler free so I can’t talk about the mind bending ending to this movie. Anyway yeah it absolutely rules. The movies a dark journey through the layers of hell with The Assassin on his journey to blow it up. I think, they don’t tell you it’s a lot of using your own…

    And

Suggested by Mofa on the Films you think I’ll Love List

You ever just watch a movie and think “that’s everything I’ve ever wanted to make as an eventual filmmaker.” that’s Seven Psychopaths for me. It’s absolutely everything I’ve ever wanted to make. It’s a gangster film with characters that have very few redeemable qualities to them doing crazy shit that continues to prove how awful these people…
