Isolation Log Day 5:
It’s fine. Overly slow in parts and overly fast in other parts. Pretty simple story too, nothing special. Though there are quite a few moments of interesting lighting and unique camerawork or shots and it’s still quite impressive overall considering the budget and troubles that occurred in the making.
It also shows well how incredibly wide the range of Kubrick’s career was. From b&w movies in the 50s to a relatively modern movie in 1999, all from one guy... mind blowing.
