top 4 represent movies about which i have recently thought "aw man i love that movie, i should put it in my top 4," in no particular order
Breathless and dense worldbuilding, never-ending wacky gory creature effects, David Cronenberg being great in a totally unnecessary slasher subplot, and a sweet and extremely earnest epic fantasy narrative. I don't know if it all ever really gels or makes complete sense (even in the expanded directors cut), but I just like it a lot.
Root for the underdogs, love your neighbour, ACAB, and true love wins in the end.
I don't think I've ever taken a vacation that doesn't have at least a few sad memories associated with it. An argument with a friend, getting lost, not having enough money to do something I wanted do, feeling depressed while somewhere beautiful.
I don't regret any of those vacations. They are also filled with beautiful, inspiring, thrilling moments. But they are not magic, and they are not perfect. They happened to me, and I am not perfect, and they happened in this world, and it's not perfect either.
