Gabriel Presley’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’m a bit split on this film, while it’s very fun and has some of the most creative action in the MCU, it still has the many faults the most marvel films tend to have.
I very much appreciate how much isn’t in English, and while they did fully commit with some moments and scenes that have no real reason to be in English, for an American blockbuster it was good.
The first half ish has a good personality that I didn’t expect but other than that was pretty standard, while the other half had the opposite (although they both had the trade marked MCU grade and cinematography which was a let down)
But the action direction was exciting and engaging in a way that feels new as well as old in a great way
