After the excelent "The Beat Test" Jimmy Cummings is on my list for must see material. In this one he is very good as well, in both acting and writing. Even though this sort of genre movies are kind of worn out, he brings his own sarcasm and ansiety of north american stupid antics that makes it fresh.
