I’m not sure you could make a better film in which Freddy and Jason finally meet and try to fuck each other up.

It’s Jason Voorhees in space. David Cronenberg cameos. It’s pretty funny. Did I mention it’s set in space.

Honestly a film about a truck driver reconnecting with his young son through arm wrestling should be the worst film ever. But it ain’t and I am amazed to say I found it somewhat charming. Cheesy as all hell but charming.

I know Tobe Hopper is credited director but everytime I watch this I see shot after shot straight out of Spielberg’s play book. Spooky, scary and the best haunted house movie ever. Just would love to have been on the set to see who was really calling the shots...
