Cameron 🍤’s review published on Letterboxd:
One of the infamous Censored Eleven, a group of old Warner Bros. cartoons withheld from syndication for their racist stereotyping. This one features especially negative portrayals of black characters, particularly the lead, who is a lazy young delinquent who skips church to steal chickens. Along with that, the whole theme of "go to church and be a good boy" is a patronizing message of conformity that doesn't fly with me, only made worse by the racial implications.
